Doing side & main missions
The mission begins with Spider-Man perching on a tower overlooking a foggy shipyard in New York. Under the cover of night, he slips inside the shipyard to investigate Wilson Fisk's illicit assets. Moving stealthily across cranes, steel beams, and shipping containers, Spider-Man systematically neutralizes Fisk's snipers and armed patrols one by one. Once the outer yard is cleared of threats, Officer Jefferson Davis arrives to assist, presenting a search warrant to legally gain entry. Spider-Man infiltrates the main warehouse through a ventilation shaft on the roof and works to unlock the front gates from the inside. Along the way, he recovers a police stun gun, using its electrical components to craft an electrified web modification. By overloading several junction boxes, he opens the path for Officer Davis to enter. Together, they search the warehouse, uncovering secret rooms hidden inside cargo containers and eventually finding a trapdoor leading to an underground bootlegger's tunnel. As they navigate the underground corridors, a group of masked Demon gang members breaches the facility to steal Fisk's weapon stockpiles. Spider-Man and Officer Davis confront the invaders in a high-stakes courtyard battle. Demonic reinforcements arrive in sedans, but Spider-Man defeats them with electric web-shooters, melee strikes, and aerial acrobatics. Two trucks escape with the weapons, prompting Spider-Man to pursue them through the city streets. He intercepts one of the trucks, fighting off enemies on its roof, and successfully halts the vehicle just as it nearly collides with a gasoline tanker. In the aftermath of the crash, Spider-Man saves Officer Davis from armed thugs and helps him out of the wreckage. Reporter Mary Jane Watson interviews Officer Davis at the scene, and later talks to Peter Parker about the escalating threat of the Demon gang. Struggling with financial difficulties, Peter Parker finds an eviction notice on his apartment door and is forced to retrieve his belongings—including a valuable hard drive—from a garbage truck. After contacting Eddie at Empire Sanitation, Spider-Man swings across Manhattan to search trash trucks, eventually finding his drive near an incinerator where he also rescues a sanitation worker from local thugs. With his gear recovered, Spider-Man goes on to intercept a Demon assault on an armored car in Union Square. Afterward, he visits a rooftop stakeout location to search for clues left behind by the elusive Black Cat. He uses a camera lens to locate her hidden feline figurines across the cityscape. Soon after, Officer Davis alerts him to a Demon attack on a Fisk construction site, where the gang is trying to eliminate Fisk's remaining loyalists. Spider-Man swings to the skyscraper, defeats the attackers, and stops an escaping helicopter in an intense airborne battle, finally web-binding the helicopter to save the city below. Later, Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson attend a public ceremony at City Hall where Mayor Norman Osborn awards Officer Davis a Medal of Honor for his bravery, but the event is suddenly interrupted by a suspicious phone call and a devastating explosion.
